RoHS Information

In an effort to have BestPack products at the forefront of being "environmentally friendly," BestPack tape is now RoHS compliant.

RoHS is an acronym for "Restriction on Hazardous Substances." It was first implemented for the European community, and has quickly been spreading to other countries, most notably the USA and more specifically, the state of California.

RoHS compliance specifically states these substances are not found in our products:

1) Lead
2) Mercury
3) Cadmium
4) Hexavelent Chromium
5) Polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs) "flame retardants"
6) Polybrominated diphenyls (PBDEs) "flame retardants"

Companies in the state of California are currently asking for RoHS compliant products. And soon, other states will follow.

BestPack packaging and masking tape lines have all been tested by an independent verification facility, SGS, to officially claim that our tape products are RoHS compliant. Below is a copy of the results.
