Marcolin’s warehouse and distribution center was under pressure. To manage budget constraints, the company had shifted to lower-cost corrugate, which presented handling issues for their old banding machines—loud, manual, and inefficient.

• AS Carton Sealer – A high speed fully automatic uniform carton sealer that didn’t require an operator to run it.
• Two RS Carton Sealers – A semi-automatic solution ideal for handling random-sized carton without frequent machine adjustments.

These machines provided a scalable solution for faster, more consistent packaging—and most importantly, could be tailored to handle the thinner corrugate materials.

“There were some bumps early on during integration,” Marcolin’s Facility Manager said. But once BestPack’s machines were modified to work with the thinner boxes we used, it was smooth sailing.”
